Protected item is a special object designed for storing data of various kinds. Protected items may contain general data (integers, strings, dumps) as well as secret keys (determinants) of hardware algorithms and LMS license table. Unlike general memory fields protected items provide additional services such as reading and data update, activation and deactivation, password-protected access to data.
