Description:
The applications protected with automatic protection use a symmetric hardware algorithm. This significantly increases the level of tamperproofness of the autoprotection by introducing the element of hardware encryption into it.
If there are no algorithms of proper type (GSII64 or AES) in the dongle’s memory, for example, when it is used for storing other data, the automatic protection will work correctly only in the case when it does not use a hardware algorithm in the process of protection.
You need to launch NwKey32.exe with option /NOA in order to restrict the use of hardware algorithms for the automatic protection.
Example:
NwKey32.exe /GS3S /NOA MyProg.exe
An application protected using this method will not use hardware algorithms for Guardant Sign dongle verification.
