Execution of Guardant API functions changing the algorithm status or its contents requires the password previously set during activation of service(s). For entering the passwords use the fields located opposite to the flags controlling the services.
Entry fields in Passwords section become enabled upon activating respective services.
Maximum length of each password is 4 bytes.
Unified/random password
Service password may be set unified, i.e. the same password for all dongles using this algorithm, or random, i.e. a new random password is automatically set for each next dongle programmed by this mask template.
Important information
The use of random passwords presumes the operation in GrdUtil.exe database mode. Only in this case you will be able to track passwords set during each session of dongle programming, since each programming session is registered in the database.
The dropdown list against the selected service serves for defining the type of password. Dropdown lists in Unified/Random password section become enabled while using a respective service.
