The value in Password entry attempts field defines the maximum number of failed entering a password attempts while gaining access to the algorithm (value by default – 10).
If the number of password entry attempts exceeds the admissible value during activation, deactivation, update or other actions programmed for this algorithm, the algorithm will be blocked and will get the status of unchangeable item.
Whereas if the algorithm had active status prior to being blocked, such blocked algorithm can be executed using GrdTransform, GrdCrypt, GrdHash functions, however other actions programmed for this algorithm (status or contents change) become disabled.
If the algorithm did not have active status prior to being blocked, performing any actions with this algorithm becomes impossible.
