Display ‘dongle missing’ message a preset number of times:

/RC[=x]

Dongle type:

Any

Parameter value:

0<=x<=255, 50 by default

Description:

If during the operation of a protected application the dongle is missing, you can check for its presence and show a message on the dongle a preset number of times. Option /RC=x serves for this operation, where x is the number of dongle checks.

The use of this option gives the user an opportunity to save all work in progress and close the application correctly in the event, for instance, of dongle failure.

If the dongle is missing, the following message will appear on the screen: “Guardant Dongle not Found or Printer is off!” with [Retry] and [Cancel] buttons. After pushing [Retry], the application will continue running for about 10-30 seconds and then it will recheck the dongle presence. If the dongle is still missing, the same message will appear on the screen, and if it is found – the application will continue its normal operation.

If the dongle is not found after a present number of checks, the above-mentioned message will appear on the screen with [Ok] button, after pushing which the application will close.

Example:

NwKey32.exe exe /GC /RC=10 MyProg.exe

With dongle missing application MyProg.exe will be checking for Guardant Code dongle presence and report on the checking failure 10 times.
